Summary

Immediately before Japan’s 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, the lives of several American soldiers stationed in Hawaii unfold dramatically. Covering scandalous subject matter such as adultery and wrongdoing by military officers, this was an incendiary film for its day. Montgomery Clift and Burt Lancaster head an impressive cast.
