Summary

Samuel L. Jackson stars as a schizophrenic homeless man investigating a murder in this potentially fascinating but hopelessly muddled crime-drama. Jackson’s intense performance and plenty of visual style can’t overcome a contrived, thematically irrelevant plot. A lot of talent is wasted on a conceit that would make Scooby-Doo blush.
