Summary

This was the first ‘mockumentary’ to hit the big screen. Rob Reiner directs and co-stars as a documentary filmmaker following the legendary – but brain-dead – rock band Spinal Tap as they tour the U.S. ignorant of their declining popularity. Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer star and also co-wrote the screenplay with Reiner.
