Last Samurai, The

Summary

Tom Cruise teams with director Edward Zwick (The Siege) for this story of war and intrigue in 19th century Japan. Cruise plays a U.S. Civil War veteran who trains Japanese soldiers to take on the final remnants of that country’s samurai warriors.
