Summary

History buffs beware. This amalgam of 14th century medieval jousting and 1970s and ‘80s rock music is a hodgepodge that can’t decide whether it’s deliciously tongue-in-cheek or hopelessly sentimental. Writer/director Brian Helgeland’s cultural and historical melting pot is a strange brew, and not a particularly tasty one.
