Summary

Arthur Penn’s follow-up to Bonnie and Clyde takes a similar journey into the counterculture, but arrives at a more cynical place. Arlo Guthrie’s novelty tune provides the film’s best moments, but a lack of narrative focus and some dubious acting result in this being an unfulfilling cinematic experience.
