Summary

Werner Herzog’s documentary focuses on the troubled but fascinating relationship he shared with his favourite and most mercurial leading man, Klaus Kinski. Whether Kinski is a genius or a madman is difficult to ascertain, but Herzog’s portrait of the fiendish one is relatively balanced, and never less than interesting.
