Summary

In the 1930s the misanthropic comedian W.C. Fields spewed vitriol in every direction – women, children, racial and ethnic group – none are spared the dark man’s caustic barbs. This collection is a wildly uneven affair, with some shorts ridiculously dated and others remarkably fresh.
