Summary

In Roman times, a loyal general finds himself out of favour when the emperor dies and his paranoid son takes the throne. Russell Crowe stars in this violent, action-packed story of revenge set in the Roman coliseum. It looks spectacular, but the only theme here is that ‘revenge is sweet.’
