Shawshank Redemption, The

Summary

This is a movie that sneaks up on you – it seems a pretty bleak story of prison life until it suddenly becomes hugely inspirational. Andy Dufresne (Tim Robbins) is in prison for murder, but he uplifts Shawshank Penitentiary and ultimately does the same for his audience.
