Summary

This historical fictionalization follows Joan of Arc — the girl who heard God’s voice— into prison where she is tried and convicted then burned at the stake. Although a fairly accurate depiction of the martyr’s 15th Century life, this version lacks the humanity and background to understand the heroine’s convictions.
