Midsummer Night's Dream, A (1999)

Summary

A faithful adaptation of this early Shakespeare comedy with Kevin Kline at his scene-stealing best, supported by a surprisingly effective Calista Flockhart. The comically chaotic mix-and-match love tangles are energetically realised while the play-within-a-play hilariously caps to this enchanting reverie.
