Summary

The onscreen pairing of Streisand and Redford hasn't stood the test of time. The film is obvious, plodding and conventional in its exploration of the conflicting lover’s politics. Also, the ubiquitous and syrupy Marvin Hamlisch theme is a constant distraction.
