Summary

The director of The Nightmare Before Christmas creates a wonderfully stylized world in this fantasy about a cartoonist trying to escape from a comatose limbo, but can’t wedge that world into a coherent story. Like its title character, it’s an id-driven piece of pure imagination with a short attention span.
