Summary

Courier company employee Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks) survives a plane crash, but finds himself stranded alone on a deserted island. This film shows how he struggles to survive. It’s remarkable stuff, despite significant weaknesses. Director Robert Zemeckis and Hanks deserve accolades for their courage in taking this one on.
