Tim Burton and Johnny Depp team up again, this time for an adaptation of the Broadway musical about an angry man who sets up a barbershop, slashes many a throat, and keeps Mrs. Lovett well supplied with grisly ingredients for her meat pie shop. Helena Bonham Carter also stars.

Michael Haneke's English language remake of his 1997 Austrian film presents a horror/thriller, but without the usual audience payoffs. Don't expect Naomi Watts or Tim Roth - the good guys - to emerge particualrly happy. Michael Pitt and Brady Corbet play the not-so-good guys.
